The Vicious Martinis
While speaking on a panel at last year's Dewey
Beach Music Conference regarding the future of
the music industry, label president Patrick Arn
was shocked when a man by the name of Glenn
Hall stood up. Years earlier, Patrick had tried to
sign Glenn's band, Sorry About Your Daughter,
a deal which unfortunately fell through. This
time, however, Glenn said to the assembled at-
tendees, "I just want to say that over the many
years I've been playing music, my biggest regret
was not signing with Gotham Records when I
had the chance."
It turned out that Sorry About Your Daughter had broken up, and Glenn was now the
frontman for a new band, The Vicious Martinis. After updating Patrick about his new
band, and giving him ample time to do his research, Patrick decided, happily, to sign
The Vicious Martinis and release their killer self-titled album on August 14, 2007.
