Scar'd Sanity

Originally formed in Oceanside, California in late 2003, Scar'd Sanity began as a desire to create driving modern rock music. Drawing inspiration from the wave of nu metal bands like Korn, Incubus, Hoobastank and Deftones, brothers Paul and Adam Cunningham, Mike Prince, Casey Froke, and Clayton Payne are not afraid to let their diverse musical influences (everything from punk to prog.) seep into their aggressive brand of music.

Don’t expect the normal wailing guitar solos of traditional heavy metal. Scar’d Sanity’s songs are dense and intricate, boasting sensible power chords, catchy riffs, and surprisingly discernible lyrics to create a tour de force of creativity and power.

With a growing reputation, the band now opens for various national acts at venues, such as the world renowned Whisky A Go-Go, 2006 San Diego Fair, and multiple performances at skateboard tournaments. Their strong internet presence allows scar'd sanity to remain connected with their fans, repaying their loyalty and devotion with due attention and respect.

Charging hard, working towards branding their name across the San Diego heavy metal scene, Scar’d Sanity is hungry to take their music to audiences everywhere.
