Mike Rocket has come a long way. Originally from Philadelphia, Mike began jamming as a part of a Bruce Springsteen cover band, in the late 1990s. As success came and the band began to build a higher profile, Mike began to perform his own original material at shows in the Jersey / Philly / New York area.

After being played on stations like WPLJ and Q104.3 in NY, thanks in part to his hit single "Gotta Get to the Jersey Shore," Mike formed a new band called Mike Rocket and the Stars, which has been twice nominated "Best Original Rock Band" by the Philly Music Awards and recently "Best Roots Band" by the 2006 Asbury Music Awards. His songs have also been featured on The Tonight Show and The CBS’ Early Show, where anchor Dave Price called his music “incredible.”

In May 2007, after years of hard work, Mike was signed to Gotham Records. His new album, ATTN: MR. DAVIS is available on iTunes, Napster and other quality digital music outlets. It is also available directly thru Gotham Records and Mike Rocket.
